My Philosophy
I am fascinated and inspired by the capacity of the human body and spirit to adapt, thrive and heal. Having worked in healthcare for years, I was drawn to Chinese medicine in particular because it has long recognized that our minds and bodies are deeply and intricately interconnected. Many disease states that bring patients to the clinic arise from a separation of mind from body in some capacity, therefore healing often requires us to rebalance and reintegrate our minds with our bodies. Since acupuncture involves adjusting and balancing the human body at the energetic level, it is a powerful tool to alleviate both physical and emotional pain by facilitating this rebalancing process.
My approach combines acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine with modern techniques to support patients in reaching their wellness goals. Just as each person is unique, each treatment plan in Chinese medicine is developed on an individual case-by-case basis and is adjusted as necessary as treatment progresses. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine are part of a proactive approach to health that emphasizes prevention, self-care, and individual responsibility for one’s own health. I empower patients by providing health education, lifestyle and/or dietary recommendations, mindfulness exercises, and at-home care advice as appropriate and necessary to support you, in my office or wherever you may be. I am honored to be a part of each patient’s healing and wellness journey.
“May all beings be at peace. May all beings be held in love. May all beings be free from suffering.”
My Philosophy

A foundational aspect of my practice is ensuring that each person feels seen, heard and understood in the healing space. With this strong support in place, I then work with my patients to customize each treatment to the specific individual's needs. My focus on compassionate care in combination with my straightforward and honest assessments provide patients with a clear path forward on their healing journeys.
By incorporating E-estim (microcurrent therapy), cupping, Tuina massage and herbal medicine into treatments as needed, the scope of my care includes but is not limited to: pain relief, emotional health maintenance, sleep regulation and stress management.
I work closely with patients to ensure they are getting the results we expect in treatment, and set realistic expectations for what can be achieved. It is an honor and a privilege to be entrusted with supporting patients in their decisions to heal, learn and grow towards their goals.
